“It broke me to find out that yesterday Jean 'Binta’ Breeze had passed away. She was the top bill on my first profesinal performance as poet. Her gentle wind of kindness was a welcome relief in my formative years. I got to work with her a few times and it would be an under statement to say all were a labour of love. I wish other poets got to spend time with her. Thank you Jean may God take you to his heart.”
